Portable Urine Collector
This portable urine collector is designed and handmade by the Rich Earth Institute in Brattleboro, Vermont. These watertight containers are easy to use for collecting and transporting your ‘liquid gold’ to one of our Vermont urine depots or to your garden for use as a fertilizer. They can be used as a standing or squatting urinal and in conjunction with the pStyle or toilet hat.
Step 1: Buy the funnel
Purchase the funnel and accompanying parts via Rich Earth Institute’s Etsy Shop.
Step 2: Buy the container
Purchase the containers that are compatible with our funnels via Zoro: 2.5 gallons or 5 gallons. (People who plan to squat-to-pee may prefer the 2.5 gallon/23 in. height size; people who plan to stand-to-pee may prefer the 5 gallon/28 in. height size.)

The pStyle is an easy to use personal urination device for standing to pee while fully clothed. It works for women (cis and trans), non-binary folks, intersex people, trans men, and some cis men.

A toilet hat can be placed beneath the seat of a conventional commode to collect urine and pour into a portable urine collector or other urine storage container.

Towa
This nifty tool doubles as a watering can and a chamber pot! The Towa was invented and patented by Åsa Lövberg and is available through the Swedish startup, Guldkannan. It has a 10 liter capacity and a lid that seals tightly to protect the nitrogen and prevent odor. Towa has been on the market for 10 years and already has over 15,000 users around the world!
