PORTABLE TOILET SERVICE TECHNICIAN
The Rich Earth Institute is seeking someone to join our peecycling & composting portable toilet team! We’re looking for someone to help out with toilet deployment and servicing once a week, ideally on Fridays. This is a great opportunity to learn about reclaiming “waste” as a resource, applying hands-on skills to protect our watershed and support local farms.
VISTA Americorps Service Member – Affordable Housing & Sanitation
This one-year VISTA position offers a chance to work at the intersection of affordable, climate-resilient housing and ecological sanitation solutions for Vermont. Affordable housing is often constrained by wastewater infrastructure—systems that are increasingly vulnerable to climate disruption. In this role, you’ll help create practical alternatives, including community-scale composting toilet systems that expand housing access while strengthening disaster preparedness.
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about housing, ecological sanitation systems, and fostering collaboration. This position will include outreach and partnership development, collaborative planning, and education resource development.
